Nov. 2025 – The 35th Anniversary Celebration of the African American Breast Cancer Alliance (AABCA) was a powerful and elegant evening honoring the organization’s 35 years of service. The “Feel the Pink in Black and White Gala” highlighted decades of accomplishments supporting Black women and men diagnosed with breast cancer, their families, and others affected by cancer.
The event brought together friends, supporters, survivors, and community leaders to raise awareness and funds for AABCA’s breast cancer education and support programs. Together, guests truly embodied the spirit of shining, sharing, and hoping in the fight against breast cancer.
The gala featured an elegant social reception, dinner, awards, special guests, and memorable entertainment by the Groveland Woodwind Quintet and DJ Chaz Millionaire of KMOJ-FM Radio. The evening also included an inspiring keynote by Tonya Jackman Hampton, EdD, award-winning executive, speaker, author of The Myth of the Fearless Leader, breast cancer survivor, and AABCA member.
It was a night of celebration, remembrance, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the mission.
Cancer will not go away overnight, but together we shined brightly through the fight and shared in hope.
