Enjoy celebrating Summer Shine Time of cancer survivors sharing our stories\, being together and supporting each other.  Our Embracing Life Support Group will meet at the Robbins Urban Wellness Center\, 3900 Thomas Ave No\, Minneapolis for laughs\, lunch and sisterhood! \nWe thank our host\, Anika and Juneau Robbins for sharing community space for us to meet and be together.\n \nAlso\, sign up for our 2026 Sistas Rock Retreat in November; a 2 1/2 day weekend at a hotel to relax\, relate\, and rejuvenate with women who are and have been on a cancer journey.  Enjoy fun activities\, body\, mind\, soul and spirit connecting\, pampering\, good food and more! A $600 all inclusive weekend retreat package priced at $140. DESCRIPTION:Sisters and Misters in Survival:\nBeing diagnosed with breast cancer is devastating and confusing. Your breast cancer journey is quite a life challenge but know you will get through it.  AABCA connects with hundreds of women to share our breast cancer stories and gain support.  Our members include adult women and men breast cancer survivors\, all backgrounds\, families and breast cancer experiences.  Our support group offers a place for members to share their experiences and feelings\, we understand your journey. Making Strides of the Twin Cities is the premier breast cancer walk in the area with their event drawing thousands of people from all over the state. DESCRIPTION:The African American Breast Cancer Alliance hosts its 12th Sistas Rock Retreat\, Friday\, November 6 through Sunday\, November 8.\n \nA weekend of connecting\, fun\, relaxation and support with other women diagnosed with any type of cancer.  Sista Survivors may also invite 1 caregiver/supporter or cancer survivor to attend with them.  Activities available are 1 night Friday group dinner $35\, 1 day Saturday activities only $50\, 1 day activities and hotel stay either Friday or Saturday night $80 or 2 1/2 days full retreat $90 (double room) to $100 (Single room) per person.
